Scout- American Indian

Scout, 36 x 30, oil on canvas

Scout is a warrior wearing 3 eagle feathers with most of the vane removed. Removing the vane is a symbol of battle honors.

In the background is a buffalo hunt like you would find on a painted buffalo robe

The plains Indian has his face painted white and red. He wears a fringed Buckskin shirt with red trade cloth and carries a shield. Eagle Feathers adorn his hair.
