Moon Gazer II American Indian

Moon Gazer II
, 60 x 40, oil on canvas

I had a request from one of my galleries to create a large painting. This is the results.

It was common for hair locks to be attached to 'War Shirts'of the Plains Indians. The hair may be that of a family member, taken in battle from an enemy or be animal hair. Whatever the case, it is a symbol of personal honor

I will have this painting in the American Plains Artist show this year.
